If a property is of a collection type of another object, and recursive comparison is enabled, it should compare the individual objects as well.

Btw. I can see that I also need the fix from http://fluentassertions.codeplex.com/discussions/277551 (just wanted to mention it if it affects how you are going to distribute the fix). Currently I'm using a personal build of the main branch in order to have this other fix.
